Multiframe FAQ

DXF files

DXF files are a file exchange format support by most CAD programs. Multiframe reads and writes 2D and 3D DXF files so that you can export Multiframe geometry to a CAD program or import a frame's geometry that you have drawn in a CAD program.

Type 32 Error

A Type 32 error is caused when you try to open a file that is already open in another application. This error appears quite often when you have exported a DXF from AutoCAD using Save As... and then try to import the DXF into Multiframe. AutoCAD has marked the file as in use and will not let Multiframe open it. Close the file in AutoCAD and then import it into Multiframe.
